What are
"
modern Pelikan pens"?

What's "modern Pelikan pen"? For me, the modern Pelikan pen is model P1 that was introduced in 1958, and following pens (in 1958, models 400NN, 140, 120 were concurrently sold, but they belong to vintage Pelikan pens for me). Modern Pelikan pens are characterized by the new naming system, i.e. ("model name" -) "filling system" - "model number" (e.g. M30, Level L5). Please also see Overview.
