Pelikan P/PK

At the end of 1964, Pelikano underwent a fundamental revision (from model 1 to model 2). In 1965, all previous cartridge filler models (P25/P15) were discontinued, and in turn Pelikan started to introduce P series with rolled gold cap (e.g. P30). P series was more a development of the Pelikano (model 2) than a development based on P25/P15. At the time P series were introduced, Pelikan had begun to concentrate on the "Pelikano business". As a concession to the supposedly "eternalists", the pens were also offered with piston mechanism under the designation M20 and M30. Thus, cartridge filler P30 at last formed the flagships of the Pelikan fountain pens .In 1966, Pelikan started to introduce less expensive PK series with plastic cap and steel nib (e.g. PK10, PK30). In line with the revision of Pelikano in 1968, P/PK series was revised between 1969 and 1970.
