Pelikan M100 (1966-1970)
The model M100 was introduced in 1966, the next year Pelikan M series were introduced. Almost all parts in solid 14 carat gold (nib, cap top overlay, cap tube overlay, clip, sleeve, section ring, and turning knob overlay)⁽¹⁾, the model was the most luxurious fountain pen in the series. It was, so to speak, the successor to the model 700NN. The internal structures (nib, thermic-regulator, filling mechanism) were the same as that of the model M30. The model M100 was similar in appearance to the model M60, which was all gold filled, with a few differences: The model M100's surface was all guilloché, while the model M60's was striped along its entire length. The model M100's surface was engraved "14C-585" all over as shown below.
The model M100 was redesigned in 1970: the shapes of the nib and the section were changed and nibs became 18 carat gold (Pelikan M100 (1970-1973)).
Note;⁽¹⁾For each solid gold part, hallmark "14C-585" was inscribed.
