Pelikan Souverän K800 (1989-        )

When I recently received a green-striped K800 I bought on Ebay, I noticed something. The metal tip on the end is small (Fig.1, 2 right), unlike the black K800's I am used to seeing (Fig.1, 2 left). Both K800s are engraved with"W-Germany". Did the earliest K800s have the same small tip as the early K600 (W-Germany)⁽¹⁾ and K400 (W-Germany) (Fig.3)? Did K800 later have a larger tip to differentiate it from them? If anyone knows, please let me know.

Note;⁽¹⁾The early K600 had a similar shape to the K400. The K600 we see today was initially called the "K660" (万年筆評価の部屋). The current K600 is one size smaller than the K800.
