AUCH-Pelikan 200

In 1934, the first mechanical pencil was introduced to extend the line of Pelikan fountain pen. The name was AUCH ("also")-Pelikan 200. In Pelikan news letters, the meaning of the name was explained as follows "For the owners of Pelikan, there is only one thing: Fountain pen? Pelikan, of course! And mechanical pencil? Of course, also Pelikan!".
